14 Brown Based Designs
I follow a lot of CSS galleries and have noticed the massive increase in the amount of brown colour based designs. As a template designer I have noticed that when I try to sell a brown based template, they sell. When I design a brown based website it gets into CSSmania. All this leads me to believe that Brown is one of the design trends at this moment in time.
I am going to show you the nicest brown sites I have come across when updating my CSS gallery, inspireCSS.

Hey, thanks for featuring my site! I’ve gotten a great response so far. It’s in great company here.
I’d have to say that I’ve noticed a trend with brown as a prominent color in designs as well. It looks great, feels warm and has more character than black or white. I’ve really dug using it thus far.

@Matt Radel
No probs. I have always been drawn to homelier looking sites and the warm brown technique that I see a lot now is a compliment to the homely idea. I have started to implement it into quite a few of my sites and templates as opposed to the white clean look, brown is the way to go for professionalism it seems nowadays.
Oh and btw, it was your site that inspired me to create the background effect (lighter in the middle moving to darker on the left and right) on my new site http://codethatdesign.com/ so thanks for that.
